Jasmine is graduate of the University of Adelaide Elder Conservatorium of Music completing a Bachelor of Music (Classical Voice) in 2021 and is currently studying a Master of Teaching (Primary). On stage from age three she performed with Theatre Bugs for ten years, performing with Peter Combe and appearing on Here’s Humphrey the tv series.

 

From age 12 she was a chorister with the Australian Girls Choir, performing worldwide. Her highlights include performing with Hugh Jackman, singing for the Pope and entertaining at Hong Kong Disneyland. Throughout her musical training and experience she has lost count of the shows she has performed in. Favourite memories include industry masterclasses and performing with Kate Ceberano, Rachael Beck and Lucy Durack.

Over the course of her time with the Australian Girls Choir as a chorister Jasmine was fortunate enough to be awarded multiple leadership roles, awards and solo opportunities. Leadership roles include International Tour Dance Leader (2018),  Specialist Dance Group Leader in Performing Choir (2018) and Camerata (2015), in addition to Concert Level Leader (2013). An award close to her heart is the 2014 Outstanding Achievement Award.

In striving to achieve her best Jasmine's achievements include First Place in the Multicultural Youth of South Australia Talent Show (2018) in addition to being awarded the Colin Oliver Wyatt Foundation Music Scholarship (2016-2018), Stage 2 Solo Performance Subject Award (2018) and the Cowan Family Grant from the Elder Conservatorium of Music (2021).

An avid busker, performing at local markets, Rundle Mall and Harbour Town, highlights from Jasmine's time performing includes raising $900 for the 2019/20 Kangaroo Island Mayoral Relief and Recovery Bushfire Fund and being gifted a bunch of bananas from a fruit and veg stall.

​

Taking every opportunity to learn Jasmine undertakes regular training and lessons in music and dance. Her most recent vocal coach and teachers include Rosie Hosking and Karina Bailey.

​

In her spare time when Jasmine isn't studying or rehearsing she works as a tutor and venue manager with the Australian Girls Choir fostering the next generation of performers and is an adult tap dance teaching assistant, in addition to working as teaching artist with True Ability.
